CHAPTER 02 / THE VOIDED SMP

Choose your class

Ten approaches. One shared world.

Every class changes how you approach survival. Read the tradeoffs as closely as the strengths. The Class Chamber and `/class` show your selection and ability information.

Preview each class in the Class Chamber before confirming. Every class has strengths and tradeoffs; your class is separate from your skills and prestige. The roster below gives a quick comparison.

Abilities and changing class

Read /class for your controls. Rogue: Sneak + right-click a sword. Ranger: wait for the grounded full-draw readiness cue. A new class selection costs a 7,500-VM reset credit through /store; it preserves progression and the contents of Expeditionist crates.

Expeditionist: in Survival, hold Sneak for three seconds near a one-block gap, or use Sneak + Swap Hands. Release Sneak to stand when there is room.
